SB desander pump horizontal centrifugal single stage end suction

SB Series sand pumps are supplementary pumps, newly designed and manufactured
according to features of petroleum and natural gas drilling equipment, adopting
axial suction structure and using wear-resistant cast iron for flow-passing parts,
applicable to deliver /transfer corrosive drilling fluid (with suspended
particulates) or other liquid media under similar working condition, are the best
optional pump of desander, desilter and mixing hoppers as well as perfect perfusion
pumps of mud pumps.
These pumps are mainly characterized by good versatility and exchangeability of
parts, less leakage of shaft seal, reliable operation, long service life and
convenient maintenance.
SB Series pumps are of five types, namely, SB6X8, SB5X6, SB4X5, SB3X4 and SB2X3, of
which, SB6X8 matches motors (45KW, 55KW & 75KW) (forward pumps and reverse pumps of
6 specifications can be provided according to customers’ demands) ; SB5X6 is for
motors (22KW, 30KW, 37KW and 45KW) (reverse pumps of 4 specifications); SB4X5 can
be used with motors (15KW and 22KW) (reverse pumps of 2 specifications ); SB3X4 is
applicable for motors (15KW, 11KW and 7.5KW) (reverse pumps of 3 specifications);
SB2X3 matches motors (11KW, 7.5KW & 5.5KW) (reverse pumps of three specifications).
Sealing components of the former two types pumps are universal. Outline and
installation dimensions of reverse pumps are the same as those of forward pumps on
the whole, except that volute discharge tube is at left side of forward pump but at
right side of reverse pump (seeing from the suction end).
Sand pumps SB6X8 and SB5X6 are respectively recommended to be used with drillers
over 3200m and below 2500m.
Sealing of SB Series and pumps are of two types: mechanical seal and composite
seal. Composite seal is auxiliary impeller, special polyurethane reinforced oil
seal plus rectangular graphite jointing packing seal. Main seal is high wearing
hard alloy mechanical seal that is with a long life; auxiliary seal is graphite
packing seal that can avoid accidents. The practice has demonstrated that SB Series
sand pump seal is reliable and convenient for maintenance.
Shaft seal of SB Series sand pump is lubricated with grease, and bearings are
lubricated with oil. In addition, bearings can also be lubricated with grease
(bearing caps at two ends of bearings are equipped with grease holes).
Both inlet flanges and outlet flanges of SB Series sand pumps are with two series
standard dimensions, in metric system for domestic users and in English system for
foreign users.
Our SB Series sand pumps have been used for land and offshore drilling platforms in
more than 20 countries over the world and the result shows that these pumps
requires little maintenance expenses other than the normal replacement of sealing
components.
