For the treatment of process water such as in ' ion Exchange’ and in the process of removing organic matter, YUBO Filter offers products such as the Header and Hub-Lateral Systems to uniformly collect and distribute process flow. Sizing of both the main header pipe and the screen laterals are based on recommended through-pipe and slot opening velocities to ensure higher efficiency and lower pressure drop. The screen laterals (screen-based or screen + drilled pipe-based) are removable and can be designed with either a flange or threaded nipple connection. Available as both Header Lateral and Hub Lateral assemblies, wedge wire screen laterals and pipe-based laterals can be connected to distributor headers and spider hubs using standard thread, fabricated flanges, and ANSI connections, and can be fully welded. Connection orientation: Suitable for side-mounted, top/bottom-mounted vessels, custom spool assemblies can be designed to fit specialized vessels/systems. Multiple configurations Filter solutions under-drain assemblies for sand filters, carbon filters, and ion exchange units are offered in multiple layouts and configurations. The main reason is that wedge wire offers a continuous slot, more open area, precision slots offered and stronger, more durable, reduction in clogging and reduce media abrasion. V wire Laterals allow uniform collection of feed water due to the much larger area provided for collection. Fine Slots on the Lateral substantially reduce the need for under-bed support media.
