Dicyandiamide, also known as dicyandiamide, cyanoguanidine, or DICY for short. The dicyandiamide curing agent is a typical latent curing agent for epoxy resin. A latent curing agent usually means that it can be stored stably at room temperature after being mixed with epoxy resin, but once it is heated, the curing reaction will be triggered by the action of light, moisture, or pressure to form a cured product. Dicyandiamide curing agent belongs to the latent curing agent of heating curing. It is solid at room temperature, insoluble in epoxy resin, and dispersed in epoxy resin in the form of fine particles. After heating reaction, once heated to the melting point, it begins to dissolve and react quickly to cure.
