Braking: When the brake pedal is pressed, hydraulic pressure is applied to the
brake pads, forcing them against the brake rotors or drums, which generates
friction and slows down the truck.
Heat Dissipation: As friction is created during braking, heat is generated.
The backing plate helps dissipate this heat, preventing brake fade and ensuring
consistent braking performance.
