PanEVAP & MVR system
A multiple-effect evaporator is a device that efficiently uses steam heat to evaporate water. Water is boiled in a series of heat exchangers, each at a lower pressure than the last, in a multiple-effect evaporator. The benefits of multiple effect evaporators include their suitability for large-scale and continuous operation. When compared to a single effect, it is extremely cost-effective. Multiple effects are employed to reduce the amount of energy required to evaporate unwanted water content. Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) is an energy recovery process that is used primarily in industrial settings. The process involves compressing low pressure vapor to a higher pressure, which increases its temperature. The heated vapor is then fed back into the system to be used as a heat source for evaporation or distillation processes. By compressing the vapor, the MVR evaporation system recycles the thermal energy that would otherwise be lost. This makes the process highly energy-efficient as it reduces the need for external heating sources.
