Product introduction: C5/C9 Copolymerized Petroleum resins is a series of C5 Hydrocarbon Resin modified C9 Hydrocarbon resin obtained from copolymerizing of C5 fraction and C9 fraction that derived from the by-product of thermal cracking of naphtha. It is a granular solid resin with the color range from light yellow to yellow. It is not a high polymer, but a low polymer with the molecular weight range of 300-3000. C5/C9 petroleum resin has the advantages both of C5 Hydrocarbon resin and C9 hydrocarbon resin. It has the characteristics of low acid value, good miscibility, water, ethanol and chemical resistance, the chemical stability against acid, the good adjustment of viscosity and thermal stability, weather resistance and light aging resistance because of non-polar groups in its structure. C5/C9 hydrocarbon resin has good solubility in organic solvents especially in oil solvent, as well as good compatibility with other resins. It also has brittle, increasing viscosity, cohesiveness and plasticity.
