Steel grating

Steel bar grating (also called steel grid plate or bar grate) is an open-mesh
structural panel manufactured by orthogonally joining load-bearing flat bars
and cross bars through pressure welding or press-locking. The result is a
rigid, open-grid surface that simultaneously delivers load-bearing strength,
ventilation, drainage, and anti-slip performance — all at a weight roughly 70%
lighter than solid steel plate of equivalent bearing capacity.
At Wanquan Wire Mesh, our steel grating is produced from Q235B carbon steel
in standardized production workshops located in Anping County, Hebei — the
heartland of China's wire mesh manufacturing industry. Every panel passes
strict in-line quality inspection before shipment, conforming to ISO9001 and
international project specifications.
