With the growth of the carbon chains in the alcohol and acid groups in the ester, its solubility for low-polarity resins is enhanced. In addition, the content of Yongtai EGDA diester is as high as 99.5% , very little impurity, less moisture and low acid value, etc., make it low odor, not easy to turn yellow, stable distillation range, very suitable for odorless paint. Yongtai™ EGDA is a colorless, low odor, very slow-evaporating solvent that gives good flow-out to baking lacquers and enamels. Its major uses are in thermoplastic acrylic coatings as a reflow solvent and in foundry core-binding applications.
