This Roland VG-540 / VG-640 Printhead - 6000005975 set is suitable for second generation of Roland Truevis VG-540i & VG-640i printers. This is the original Roland part (number 6000006702 replacing 6000005976, 6000003991, 6000003077, 6000003425, 6000002330, 6000004770, 6000005975, 6000004769 & 6000003990). Initially there were two head versions, with short cables (200mm) for SG and some VG printers, and with long cables (250mm) for all later models. This VG-i Assy Inkjet Head 250L - 6000006702 printhead is the long cable version. The Roland VG-540 / VG-640 Printhead - 6000005975 with long cables can be used instead of the one with short cables. This printhead is therefore suitable for all SG and VG models (including SG and VG version 2 and 3).
