BCT Box Compression Tester
Box Compression tester is used for measuring the ability of packaged freights and containers, made of metal, wood, corrugated fibreboard, solid fiber cardboard, plastics, etc. or of combination of these, to resist external compressive forces corrugated or containers. The test can be used to assess the performance of a package in terms of its strength or of the protection it offers to its contents when it is subjected to compressive forces or stacking. BTT-02 Ball Tack Tester
Inclined Type Ball Tack Tester is equipped with the inclined plate of 20°, 30° or 40° inclined angle. The inclined plate is a smooth and flat one made of aluminum. A steel ball of various specifications is placed at the upper part of the inclined plane, followed in lower 100mm section is the approach table, where the ball can accelerate after released. The test sample is placed below the approached table in the next 100mm. The Rolling Ball Tack Tester is released and sticked at the test area. Test Principle of BTT-02 Inclined Type Ball Tack Tester The initial tack of the sample is tested through the adhesion of the adhesive tape to the steel ball when there is brief contact between the steel ball and the adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive tape sample with a small pressure. It is suitable for testing the adhesion of adhesive tapes, labels, and other products to steel balls to test the initial tack of the sample. Gently release the steel balls from the starting point on the inclined plate. Record the biggest steel ball that can be stuck by sample. Repeat tests with the balls of adjacent numbers of that largest one to confirm if it’s that largest one to be stuck. The numerical value obtained from multiplying the nominal size of a ball is called the ball number. Record a result by the ball number. Further, record the angle of an inclined plate.
